What is your first thought regarding an internet lesson that immediately doubles your current knowledge

There are many such instant superlessons, where a ten-second effort eliminates another minute's effort of what you were about to do. Getting past the "oh, it's so complicated" (days, weeks, and years) takes far longer than learning the shortcuts themselves (fifteen seconds each)

In the world of computers, people get confused by the thousands of such double-power shortcuts.
In fact, only ten or twelve shortcuts are needed to zoom you past 80% of the world's computer users. This is pure science, as per Pareto's Principle, which without exception so far has proved that eighty percent of all our production, personally and globally, are achieved by twenty percent of our effort.
You can translate this equally to thousands of human efforts. A great example is the examination of the largest 100 companies in America. You find in each case that 20% of the employees are producing 80% of their gross. When you look at the Fortune 500, you find the same numbers. So, too, with the largest 1000 companies. It even applies to your local businesses.

Learning just ten or twelve computer shortcuts in WHATEVER it is you're using the computer for instantly blasts you right past eighty percent of the world's computer users. It doesn't matter whether you use the computer for documents, sound, images, or any conceivable service. You will master the effort with just ten or twelve shortcuts!
Whether we're learning how to search and find anything on earth about any subject your brain can ever think of (and many it won't º¿º ), to creating posters or radio internet broadcasts, or a site to sell something from there are only a few shortcuts needed to master many other tasks without much conscious thought.
Maybe you work mostly with documents. If so, you already know that there are many different computer programs that create and modify documents. If anyone cares, they're called text editors.' Guess what? They all use the same shortcuts. Sure, there are a few exceptions, and the only reason you're able to know that is by already knowing the ten or twelve that created a pocket for an exception to exist. That's what's so funny about people getting confused or believing that computers are complicated. Nothing could be further from the truth.
For the most part, computer programs are designed to operate very similarly to the way your own mind works. It organizes information in several ways that are patterned after the way the human brain and system operate... whether or not the creators of our computers knew it or not. It organizes information in truly simple ways that are massively, effectively revealed to you as you learn the ten or twelve shortcuts. Be sure you understand that recording yourself singing or speaking and producing your own cd complete with fancy labels is no less than a thousand times easier than it was for you to learn how to tie your shoelaces. Remember, learning to tie those shoes took you uncountable efforts and thoughts over a three or four or six-year period. You ultimately learned to do it exclusively because you learned from others who did it better and you then tried it hundreds and hundreds and more hundreds of times.
Bypass that whole trial and error business. Use the first tool to a greater extent:
just take it from those who are already doing it like wizards.
No matter what program you're using, it only takes ten or twelve shortcuts for you to grasp a thousand or more options available to you under those 10 or 12 primary choices.
Here comes the most exciting news, and the root of this communication to you. It's got to be worth thousands of dollars to you, because the moment you possess this, you have instant, genuinely instant reclaim of many thousands and thousands of the precious minutes that make up your life. Please note: not thousands of your precious minutes. Rather, thousands and thousands of your minutes over the next ten to thirty years alone. The great news is this:
Almost every one of the ten or twelve shortcuts that you personally need to gain... are you ready for this?... they work in tens of thousands of different computer programs!!
Whoah! Consider the implications of that perfect, empirical, provable truth. This means that the dozen shortcuts you learn for MS Word, for example, will work in thousands and more thousands of other programs. You're being told that the master shortcuts you've probably already begun to learn, such as CTRL +A or CTRL + C or CTRL + V provide you with a universal set of incredible tools to cut through hundreds of tasks each time you sit at a computer for an hour or more. Whoah, indeed!
Some people, for example, already understand Windows Explorer; NOT Internet Explorer, rather, Windows Explorer, which is your computer's instantly understandable filing cabinet. You get there by holding down your WIN button (lower left corner of your keyboard) and tapping the letter E. Doesn't have to be capital e, just the letter e.

The window that opens allows you to instantly decide where to put files, copying them by just clicking any file in any folder one time with your left mouse, and using any of the many commands that equal "Copy"

If you want, hold your keyboard CTRL button down and tap the letter C (none of these shortcuts has to be lowercase or uppercase: whatever you like).

Or, after you left-click on any file in Explorer, you can go to your upper left screen and click Edit and Copy. Whatever you copied is now on your invisible clipboard and can be pasted (CTRL + V) into any folder you wish. DOING it is what induces memorization

Doctors are Killing America

When you examine efficiency rates in America, you may be in for some small surprise. Of 416 career fields examined, 315 are all within a range of what we can comfortably call ' the norm.'

Of the remaining 101 fields, we find a wide range of effectiveness in job attempted vs. job accomplished. For example, one of the most efficient career fields is oil fire control. Those people, such as the internationally-renowned Red Adair, who fight often-explosive fires at oil drilling sites, enjoy a 100% efficiency rate because they ultimately get the job done every time.
Certain career fields, such as teaching, are difficult to qualify for quality of their effectiveness, and easier to quantify by way of graduation rates, and what their students end up doing five, ten, and twenty years later. Sadly, there's only one career field numerically identifiable as 'least efficient' in America, although enjoying a higher rate of efficiency in at least nine other nations. What makes it scarier is a double-whammy:
  1. The margin of its inefficiency is enormous: no other field comes close.
  2. It's a life-and-death career field!
If you're fairly well-read, then you already know that, comparing attempted job to successfully completed job, no career field has a lower rate of efficacy than the U.S. medical profession. Leading the way is, of course, psychiatry, designed to bring the patient back hundreds of times in order to pay for the psychiatrist's many luxuries. (It's worth noting that behaviorial psychologists and "inspirational motivators" have demonstrated a greater consistency and repetition of success with their clients)

Following right behind psychiatrists in the contest for "Most Inefficient" are the general practioners and surgeons. These are, by weighty margins, the two most inefficient fields in America, where, ironically, their persistent failures nevertheless gain for these practicioners enormous financial rewards and respect in the community despite their undeniably enormous failure rates, with thousands of people killed every week JUST through doctor error. This fact has been thoroughly documented here in America.

We can dislike this fact, and can find no shortage of debate on how to best fix it, or why this is so.
It is not, however, reasonable to argue the fact itself. Numbers do not lie, only people do.

Shortcuts
One of the five most effective shortcuts to immediately enjoying higher health, longer youth, and better quality of life in one fell swoop can be achieved with no expense, effort, or time on your part. In every case where you do so, your efficiency level continues to rise.
Actively accept that the single largest influence on your health, youth, and longevity is not to be found outside your own mind and body. Very few doctors can licitly claim a high healing rate. Unless you can afford for someone like Dr. Emil Kuwe or Dr. Andrew Weil, or Dr. C. Everett Koop or Dr Sarah Brewer, genito-urinary specialist who's written over twenty powerful books on health and medicine, to take care of you personally, then perhaps you'll adopt the techniques of these and other life-extending wizards.
The forerunner of the F.D.A. and the American medical profession determined that Dr. Kuwe's unpredented effectiveness in treating and/or curing many hundreds of supposedly incurable cases of bleeding ulcers, arthritis, specific cancer patients, and more, was due to nothing more and apparently nothing less than each patient stating sincerely and out loud, several times daily, "Each day in every way I'm getting better, better, and better."
Sounds cockeyed to me, too, yet only a fool argues with the horse's mouth: roughly 1,700 seemingly impossible cases were sent into remission or cured after orthodox medical treatment had yielded nothing and his patients did as he instructed. Do YOU know better than those who have already done it successfully? As always, your personal health practices speak so loudly we can't hear a word you say.
People like Dr. Weil and Dr. Koop, while relinquishing few of life's treats and delights, taught and lived long, active lives simply by ingesting far more water and foods that come from the ground. Not giving up cakes or other favorites, simply striking a balance between water, foods from the ground, and whatever other garbage you're happy about putting in your body.

Dr. Brewer and so very many other high quality researchers have proven that the simpler methods of stress reduction; getting quality sleep; using the simplest herbal remedies such as echinacea, garlic, selenium, ginseng, and lapacho ((Pau d'Arco) have instant and long-term power to increase a dozen or more facets of your health simultaneously.

Success Shortcuts
Those who walk the talk, versus those who only talk the talk, are our best teachers. They constitute active proof of what works. In terms of your health and longevity, the quality as well as the quantity of your life, why would you place unbalanced reliance upon, let alone pay obscene rates for, a group of people who irrefutably hurt and kill far more people than they help? This is low efficiency, from the 300,000 unnecessary heart surgeries each year (that's how many DIE within months of their surgery), to another 250,000 extra coffins each year just for those who were given the wrong medication, efficiency is not one of the claims we can hear from the medical community. When doctors cut off the wrong leg… and then have to cut off the sick leg anyway, are they held as accountable as a mechanic or a teacher who makes a grave error in a critical, life-changing situation?

Be efficient. Take control of your medical decisions by participating in those decisions.
You want better decisions? The internet alone provides you with almost every one of the top one thousand experts in every human field, including health and longevity, music or money. Hush up and find a few of them. Those better decisions will please and pleasure you in as little as a single day, and obviously a great deal over the coming weeks, months, years, and, should you actually stick with it, decades of better, happier, more fulfilled living than you're getting now. Efficiency is not much more than doing what you most want -- that you're now doing or might wish to be doing -- with less effort and expense than you're now going to.

Decisions affecting your present and future life, and even how long your life will be, are not decisions best left to someone who went to school for twenty-five consecutive years and is then given a license to merely practice what he or she has learned. Remember: What do we call the medical students who graduate at the bottom of their class?

We call them "Doctor."
More water. More fruits and vegetables. Use balance. Enjoy your efficiency!
You can thank me later. This is, by a huge margin, the biggest health boost that ever existed.

Doctors, Doctors: Do you have ANY idea

Doctors have been around for about two thousand years. Death and agony have consistently followed in their wake. Undeniably, the vast majority of their patients have gotten worse and/or died. Just before President Clinton finished his second term of office, he issued an executive order permanently banning handwritten prescriptions in all federally-funded hospitals when it was revealed that up to 300,000 Americans were being killed every year, even up until 2000 just from wrong medications being administered and accidental overdoses!

THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND per year! Nearly a thousand families per day being shattered by negligence and sloppy handwriting alone, day after day, year after year. It is vitally important to no less than 80% of all Americans to be fully aware of this fact. We know that 80% of us will consult at least one doctor within any twenty-four month period.

Sadly, dissemination of this unpleasant hard reality causes many people to confuse personality or opinion with factual issues. Many doctors, perhaps even a majority, are genuinely caring people who wish to save lives. Few of us would doubt this.

It doesn't change the fact that, after twenty-five consecutive years of schooling and training, doctors are given a license to do what? That's right, practice medicine. There is a difference between practicing something, and achieving something. When we fit this comparison to medicine, the phrase "life and death" applies in the most literal sense. With this comparison, it becomes easier to understand why, after two thousand years, we still use the word "practice."

Doctors rarely go on strike. When they do, the death rate drops enormously. To the wit who claimed it's only because there's no one around to sign the death certificates, we remind them of a couple of simple, scary facts.
  1. More than four thousand Americans died from wrong medication or misdiagnosis in American hospitals… in the past week. This number has been repeated, on average, every week for too many years now. Just from wrong medication or misdiagnosis.
  2. Insurance actuaries assign malpractice insurance rates based in part on the frequency of their company having to pay out to victims of malpractice. The astronomical rise in malpractice insurance rates for doctors is directly related to the equally great rise in the dollars paid out by insurance companies - to victims of malpractice, the third in this trilogy of rising numbers.

What do you call the med student who graduates last in medical school? Think very, very carefully about your own health, and quality of life here as you understand that he or she who graduates last in his or her medical class is called "Doctor." This man or woman, along with the other forty-eight percent of those who graduate at the bottom half of their class, will make decisions that you'll tolerate, which as often as not contribute to how long and how well you and your children live on this earth. Isn't your life, and the life of your child, important enough for YOU to be the captain of your ship? We're not saying to excommunicate your doctor; simply get yourself, and then your doctor, to understand that you require control of your medical destiny.

The moment you take this control back, you instantly add time to your life. You see, among a host of other benefits, you'll no longer need to have a worried-looking doctor telling you you're eating too much fatty meat, or smoking a bit too much. As your own doctor for all but traumatic injuries, you'll monitor yourself with more knowledge, less stress, and therefore better long-term prospects.

If you have piles of money, you can afford to have a doctor in the upper fifty percent of his or her class, which produces only a mildly better chance of your benefiting from them. The downside is, the more you pay for your doctor's services, the more you know that money is his or her motivator. How bemusing, even sad that our most honored medicos are NOT those who earn million-dollar incomes, rather, those who invest up to half or more of their time into helping at inner city clinics and other forms of service.
What does it say about the others?

Those who wish to be financially wealthy should be a part of the merchant class, not medical class. Each time I see a doctor in a Benz, with that hundred-dollar vanity license plate, I grieve for the thousands of children who will die in the next twenty-four hours from starvation and malnutrition. That hundred-dollar vanity would feed, clothe and medicate five starving children for a month. Children who don't have to die, if that money-loving moron wasn't more concerned with impressing his neighbors than with saving lives. Just imagine how many children's lives he'd save if he drove a used, reliable two or three-thousand dollar car, and sent the other eighty thousand or more to Save The Children, CCF, or Habitat for Humanity to help people build their own homes.

I've earned a dollar an hour, and eighteen hundred dollars per hour, and I still derive enormous pleasure from the same foods I ate back at a buck an hour: pastas, vegetables, fruits, chocolate, cashews, etc. Maybe that's part of how I've disproved all those doctors who told me that a functional life was beyond me. How many times I've laughed, tooling down at a country highway at considerable speed on one of my motorcycles, or swimming at the beach with childlike laughing. Surgeon after surgeon after surgeon told me I'd never get out of a wheelchair no matter WHAT they, we, or I did. Yet, I've managed to function pretty independently for ten years beyond those dire prognoses, and beyond.

When you see how doctors and medical professors seminally disagree on the most basic, simple life-extending methods and treatment, from low-fat/hi-carb, or low-this and high-that, to the simple task of breathing better, it's time to wake up and smell the coffee: you need to find out what's best for you, what has worked consistently for other successful people, and then duplicate the effort, knowing that there are virtually no known exceptions to the axiomatic truth that duplicating an effort leads to duplicating the result. It's how you repeat every single successful task from birth to death. Think about it. Don't just read and run past. Think about it.

You see, ladies and gentlemen, we all have high-powered shortcuts available to us that will instantaneously guide you toward a far healthier life, adding both quantity and quality to your personal existence. In every case, their effects are also generally experienced immediately, as well as for the long term.

They've been practiced for literally thousands of years by people who live longer and better. They are the horse's mouth because the best teachers are NOT those who know better; it's those who DO better. If you're not getting it from the horse's mouth, which end of the horse are you getting it from? Old wives' tales actually tend to be about as worthwhile as the information touted as "the most current scientific data available." Every single year of your life, you can find "solid scientific data" that utterly belies what was "solid scientific data" as recently as a year earlier. Doesn't this give you a hint you want to heed?

Only a few things have never changed for those who live long and well, physically.
  1. They do not get all bent out of shape in life's ongoing disasters and challenges. They accept, and focus on resolution rather than resentment and complaint. The identical brain energy used to focus on the problem is persistently channeled into the solution.

No matter what doctors, professors or researchers tell you, we have known for thousands of years that the absolute number one cause of death on earth is stress. It is identifiably the single greatest cause of heart problems, back problems, gastrointestinal disorders, skin problems, and more.

Even diabetes, although passed on genetically every third generation (and sometimes even more often) is developed by many people as a direct result of stress and the dangerous chemicals that the body produces as a direct result of stress. Bet your bottom dollar that ulcers are NOT caused by what you eat, rather by what's eating YOU. Dr. Sarno and so many others have conclusively proven with, get this -- thousands of individual patients - that literally 99% of all back problems are caused by stinking thinking. Stop thinking your doctor is God; she's NOT; he's NOT. Better to learn more from those who are living longer and better lives, right?
  2. They drink more water than you do. Only air is more important than water. Period.
  3. They tend to breathe more intelligently than you do. I continue to smoke ten home-rolled cigarettes a day and I can still blow a match out, with my mouth open, from a full eighteen inches away. When I exhale, I do so thoroughly, ridding myself of far more toxins than five nonsmokers who don't breathe correctly. I take in more oxygen, my brain functions more efficiently AND creatively, which is why, since re-adopting this practice, I've been able to learn to play and compose for piano, guitar, and harmonica; create at least ten to twenty new columns and essays every week, along with 45 to 48 other REGULAR activities per week where my output is no less than ten times what yours is. I'm not smarter than you; I simply breathe more.

Every baby born knows how to breathe: all the way out; all the way in. By the age of 12 or so, when we become so keenly psycho-socio-sexually aware of ourselves, our breathing patterns are pitiful. An observable analogy might be the seven-year-old, who, hearing the teacher ask a question, is straining in the seat with arms waving, URGENTLY needing to display his or her knowledge to the teacher. At age 12, that same child is still sticking that arm in the air, the enthusiasm is muted by that unvoiced concern, "Oh, gee, I hope I don't get it wrong in front of anyone" (refer to Maslow's hierarchy of human needs: not being made a fool of is more important to us than a half-dozen other seemingly vital needs). By age 17, when the teacher asks that question, both of the student's hands are firmly tucked into the armpits, concomitant with the thought, "ooooh, no; I'm not making a fool of MYSELF in front of the class."

The analogy to breathing is made because we're so hung up on what other people think that we literally prioritize their opinion over our own well-being. When the boss or company is coming, you rush to make the house neat, and yourself presentable. When was the last time you rushed to make the house nice for your kids or spouse to come home to a thoroughly presentable environment? Yeah. Right.

We relinquish control over the most crucial functions in subservience to other people's opinions, and that is literally killing thousands and thousands and more thousands of Americans every month. Re-teaching yourself how to breathe properly is the first, and by far most effective shortcut you can take towards adding to the quantity and quality of your life. Exhale completely, and inhale completely. If you're that challenged by this vitally urgent requirement for a healthy life, challenged at the thought and deed of breaking out of your (ridiculously uncomfortable) comfort zone, then try one simple device and reap the benefits instantly, and within a day or two, measurably.

The device? It's called PRACTICE!!!

This very minute, before you even make a commitment to do it ten times per day, start with once; start with the first occasion in too long. Right now, as you read this, force all of the air out of your lungs. When you think your lungs are empty… think again; there are still AT LEAST two quarts of air left in your lungs that are dirty and in life-saving need of being replaced NOW.
Keep pushing that air out. Keep pushing. Believe me, no matter how empty you think your lungs are, you can find more to push out…. And if you were offered a hundred grand to push more air out of your lungs than five other contestants next to you, you'll amaaaaaze yourself with how much exhalation you're capable of.

OK, you've hit the point of being certain that there's no more air in your lungs. Slowly, and evenly, breathe allllllll the way in now, through your nose, refilling your lungs. That's it!!!

Just once is all you're asked to do. Once. In an hour or so, do it again. Obviously, it's best to do this outside, where you're getting fresh air. Never mind all that city pollution: it's far healthier than the air you haven't even been breathing by virtue of the insanely shallow breaths you've been taking for years!! Doing it inside, however, is fine, as long as you're not in a room filled with smoke or chemical vapors.

If I were you, I'd be getting very excited, because, having read this far, it means you DO care enough to want to glean benefits from shortcuts, and guess what? This one PowerGem brings a slew of benefits you haven't even guessed at.

A) Engaging in proper respiration INSTANTLY boosts several brain functions, and for those who actually do a full respiration ten times per day for the next 22 days? You will find that your thinking is clearer, faster, and by a powerful measure, more creative. This never fails, it works for one hundred percent of the people one hundred percent of the time. Yes, the more you breathe in and out per each lung function or lung cycle, the higher your intelligence grows.

Nothing changes the fact that, from the precise day that I began breathing a bit more the way I did in my first year of life, my mind and body have responded far beyond what any examiner thought was viable, let alone likely.

B) Your brain requires only two forms of food: tiny amounts of glucose, and enormous amounts of oxygen. The more oxygen you feed the brain on a consistent basis, the more it produces for you. When you understand that your brain is working considerably faster, more creatively, and more efficiently, you never want to go back. Unfortunately, we are human, so we require a habit before it becomes second nature. Breathe all the way out, breathe all the way in, and watch the results. One great way to measure it is to write down a whacky wish you might have, and try to produce twenty ideas per day on it for five days. Practice better breathing for 22 days, and then try the "whacky wish" test again.
You'll be astonished. In every single case, with every single human, astonishing results.

Your ideas will not only be more plentiful, and faster to appear, more importantly the very quality of your ideas will exceed all but your wildest imaginings.

As always, you need not take our word for it. Do it every day for even a week, and you are unconditionally guaranteed to get better and better results. By then, you'll have learned and gleaned OTHER benefits of this phenomenal shortcut. Go for it!!

We become what we think about.

Hero or housewife (not mutually exclusive), astronaut or temp office worker; we become what we think about. Take greater control today over what you're focusing. on, and watch how many improvements you quickly discern. It never fails. You only fail to keep trying. There is nothing else; all else is commentary.

Norman Vincent Peale achieved dozens of his most cherished goals. One of his greatest accomplishments was his decision to be happy for several consecutive decades. This was not a year or two of happiness. We're talking 70 straight years of personal felicity and joy in each day, through life's daunting challenges and soaring successes. He did not underrate the value of Lincoln's words. Near the end of his long, rich life he made the following statement: "The single greatest discovery of my life, outside of my relationship with God, has been the understanding that when you think in negative terms you will get negative results, and when you think in positive terms, you will get positive results."

"...single greatest discovery of my life..." Do you personally understand the profoundly enriching, empowered AND empowering life this man lived? Instead of merely acknowledging this with a nod of his head, as most of us do, he shut up and applied this incredibly powerful technique.
There is no human power, skill, or talent more underrated and underused than the faculty of focus. In every moment of your life, your mood is determined far less by the events occurring in your life than by how you choose to process those events and their impact on your life.
It is has always been, and shall always be,... ... your choice.
It can affect you mildly, or profoundly, positively, negatively, or indifferently. Outside factors play less of a role in your happiness than your attitude does.
Attitude supercedes aptitude in determining altitude.
Whether you like it or not, whether you employ it or not, the unrelenting fact of life, more powerful than any other statement you're likely to hear, can be summed up thus: Attitude, not aptitude, determines altitude. This applies to brain surgeons and garbage removers, mothers and parliamentarians, every one of us breathing.
What you choose to focus on is what you end up moving towards.
This alone, tapped into within the next few minutes, will launch of set of improvements that are unconditionally guaranteed to boost your results in every area you look upon.
When you look upon something, it's called ' focus'

Don't try to rewrite the laws of physics; that's why they are the laws of physics. They are immutable, and instead of saying, "Yes, but…," both you and I are best served by ceasing to argue, bitch, moan, and groan about why we can't do this, or get that, or become this or that. Surely you agree that we're all best served by using the laws of physics to our advantage? Focus better today, you get better results today. Period.
Those of us just half as smart as we think we are will generate immediate and lasting benefits, not only for ourselves; for others, too. We do so by talking less, and doing more.
You instantly benefit from shutting up and using more of the resources already at your disposal. Knowing it means very little until you are doing. You already know most of what you need to in order win at just about any given task. Proof? Well, picture someone you know walking up to you in the next hour and saying, "I have this dream of ________________, and I respect your opinion because I know you're smart. Can you give me some suggestions on how I can go about making this dream a reality?"
In just about every case you're able to provide suggestions, and in just about every case you're be willing to provide suggestions, some of them easy to implement. True, or not?

Now that we agree that you're both able and willing, what the hell is wrong with you?

You're smart enough to help others pursue a dream, yet not smart enough to help pursue your own? Something's wrong with this picture, and you are heatedly and repeatedly urged to focus like a laser, fifteen minutes a day, putting to paper before you go to sleep one of your biggest dreams and just a few of your better suggestions for making it happen... - just as if you were giving advice to a kid who came to you for help.

The human mind always moves towards its most dominant thought. It never changes, and believe me, you're like everyone else, moving towards your most dominant thoughts. Why not simply replace the negative with a positive that is desirable to you, viewing every challenge as a situation that requires solving, or better yet, as an opportunity?

When Earl Nightingale reminded us that we become what we think about, he meant it more literally than you may realize. We become what we think about. Joker, lover, good mother or writer, we persistently and consistently move towards our most dominant thoughts. Take control of them. ... intentionally. Every time you find yourself going into a mood that is non-productive, take control. TAKE CONTROL !!

You have one choice that can't be taken away from you: the choice to think as you wish, the choice to focus on whatever you wish. Whatever events are taking place, you can focus on the problem, allowing the world to see you as a whiner... ... or you can focus on the solution, allowing the world to see you as someone to turn to when a problem arises. That's what we mean by YOUR CHOICE.
When unhappy situations arise, continue acting like a baby, reacting instead of responding, or view each situation as an opportunity. Knowing that every cloud has a silver lining doesn't help unless and until you practice it when the rain starts pouring.
It's easy, it's simple, and when applied immediately, begins producing better results at a faster rate than you have up until now.

As always, the proof is found in whatever mood you find yourself most often.

From hopelessness to helpfulness, from jitters to joy,
you will become what you most think about. Might as well reap the benefits, hm?
If you present a fair amount of anger to people around you, it's not because they're inept and stupid; it's because you're angry about something you're not resolving. You see, even if those people ARE inept and stupid, it has nothing to do with your anger, because the same event that angers you might not bother someone else. As well, how often is there an intelligent reason or measurable benefit in expressing that anger? When was the last time you obtained something worthwhile from screaming at someone, once or twice in a lifetime? Did THEY get any lasting benefit, aside from learning it would be smarter not to interact with you?

This is even easier to understand when we see two people separately arriving at a bus stop five seconds too late. One gets angry, and the other says, "Excellent! This gives me an extra fifteen minutes to read my paper before all that bouncing and jouncing during the ride make it too tough to read the small print."
The event of the bus being late did not annoy anyone, any more than it pleased anyone. It only presented an opportunity to show a small mind, or a large mind. The eventual outcome of every event is determined by how the event is responded to.

The Chinese languages have been built carefully and with no small measure of wisdom. The Chinese ideogram or symbol for "crisis" is comprised of two symbols joined together. When you view them separately, you'll find that they translate into English as, "danger" and "opportunity." Wow. Denis Waitley translated the symbols to read "opportunity riding the dangerous wind."

Every event in your life can be dealt with from outside in or inside out. Positive, or negative.

Every response is a choice, whether good, bad, or indifferent. Just because you can't stop the wind from blowing does NOT mean you can't control which direction you will use the wind to blow you towards, hm?

If you offered me free SuperBowl tickets, I'd be bored. There are many people would gladly pay $500 for a SuperBowl ticket. One man's meat is another man's poison. We move in the direction of our strongest and most repeated focus.

In every event, the outcome of the event is determined by how you process the event, how you choose to focus upon that event. Focus is like a flashlight. Widen the beam of light, what happens to the strength of the beam? It weakens, doesn't it?
Narrow the beam of light, and you see it get stronger.
It's identical to your mind in this respect:
When the beam is wide, it's weak; when it's narrow, it's strong.
That's worth repeating:

When the beam is wide, it's weak; when it's narrow, it's strong.

A free lesson in Asking Effectively

The more times you hear the word 'yes' in your conversation, the more times you'll hear the word "YES" at the close of your conversation.

The only way to keep hearing that word
is to keep asking questions that encourage the word.
You knew this as a four-year-old, asking for that ice cream, again and again and again and again... until you either gave up... ... or got the ice cream. True, or not?
80% of all the "yesses" you obtain are because you work through AT LEAST 3 objections; not because your boss told you to; rather, because YOU were determined to get that "d," & did what you had to do & therefore you suceeded.
This is the single most magical secret of success in every human endeavor. There are no known exceptions. The very minute and moment that you understand this, you have control over a power far greater than looks, money, friends in high places, talent, looks, skill, brains, and every other so-called "advantage."
The more times you hear the word 'yes' in your conversation, the more times you'll hear the word "YES" at the close of your conversation.

The only way to keep hearing that word
is to keep asking questions that will encourage the word.
You can use this incredible power in the next 60 seconds.
Stupid people are those who know and understand this power.
Smart people are those who use it immediately and repeatedly:
Nothing can restrain the power of current action.
That's why even trickling water can rub holes in the greatest boulders:
persistence overcomes resistance.
If you can fail 4 times THEN try a fifth time,
you will double your productivity in 100 days or less...
again and again and again

And by the way, your income will also double...
that's right -- in 100 days or less.
"No," does not mean "NO!!"
It means
, "Not yet; give me more reasons to say "yes."

It means,
"You haven't given me enough reasons YET for me to say "Yes."
The more times you hear the word 'yes' in your conversation,
the more times you'll hear the word "YES" at the close of your conversation.

The only way to keep hearing that word
is to keep asking questions that will encourage the word.
Don't tell us you agree or disagree... until you try it a a few more times every day. Frankly and simply, your opinion on any subject is effectively worthless until you have significant experience in that area. This one enormously powerful technique and shortcut comes from the mouths of so many of America's top sales closers, those who we are obligated to describe as being among the most persuasive people in the world. They are the proverbial 'horse's mouth.'

No matter WHAT YOU TRY...
By trying it with all your heart and focus
JUST A FEW MORE TIMES PER DAY,
not even 100 or more times in a day,
which is the magical shortcut for Olympic Winners and concert pianists...
no, no, for you just a few extra tries per day,
your current result will be doubled in one hundred days or less.
Not 50% of the time, not 72% of the time;
more like something between 99 and 100% of the time.

Best of all, this works for every single human effort!!
You can actually make use of this in ten, twenty different interests!
This is so simple that 93% of us just can't see the forest because of all the trees getting in the way. The other 7% repeatedly do it, showing the way. Why waste so much time, effort, and other resources pursuing trial and error for every task of your life? Surely you see the sense of shortcutting by just duplicating the fastest steps we see being used, for example, by Maria Benitez, 23-yr-old high school dropout, learning to get several yesses per hour where long-time professionals take hours to get one 'Yes.'
No matter what human task you mention, doing it even as little as two or three extra times per day will cause you to double your results in 100 days or less. Save your breath trying to find the rare exception: in 995 of every 1000 tries, doing it a few extra times per day with serious focus will always and everlastingly provide you with fast, powerful, measurable results.

At least that's what America's upper 1% keep saying. Are you absolutely certain that you 'understand' this simple magic shortcut better than those who...

... ... ... have clearly demonstrated their understanding by earning 'best on earth' types of recognition? I see.

Trying just a few more times per day,
even if it's just asking people for what you want the most.

Do it for 10, 20, and yes, even a hundred days. It requires less than one percent of your time -- fourteen point four minutes per day (you get 1,440 minutes per day, so one percent equals 14.4, right?

Those tiny little time capsules that you invest in yourself, just fourteen point four minutes per day, will bring you FAR more results in far more areas than your brain is ready to accept at this point. If you knew better, you'd be doing it better, wouldn't you?
You're not being asked to buy tapes, videos, books, or anything but more belief in and action from yourself.

More Amazing Golden Losers Who Succeeded with Shortcuts

Bartender in his twenties and a video store clerk of a similar age. Both perceived by friends and family as you'd expect: typical shmoes. No particular reason for them to meet, or know each other, as they live and work in different cities.

Just funny how people can make a decision, a very specific decision, about where they intend to be at a set point in their own future. It's a wonder why you're not, when you give even a moment's thoughts to this high school dropout, renting videos to customers for a local lady who knew what she wanted -- to own a video store -- or to the bartender, who was NOT voted "Most Likely To Succeed" in high school, with his school-wide reputation as a real wiseass.
First you've got a guy making five bucks an hour for himself (and quite a bit more for the woman who owned the store), Just because he was a video store clerk doesn't mean he didn't have dreams and wishes; of course he did. The big difference between that clerk and the person reading this -- oops, that's you, isn't it? -- in fact the single most observable difference between our high school dropout and you personally is that he wrote his dream on a piece of paper, and made a list of just some of the smaller steps he'd have to take in order to get to his dream... and you haven't!!
Ahhh, dreamers; don't you just love them? They are the most singularly interesting of all people. Although you personally might not know it, dreamers, the ones who sound the 'craziest,' have historically taken more action, far more action towards those dreams, than people like you... ... supposedly practical, pragmatic folks, who talk about how you COULD have your dream if only......

Uch, why are we exposed to such whining, loss-focused attitudes, especially now and today, with so many phenomenally effective shortcuts available to you within minutes, MINUTES of right now?
What makes it so offensive is that people who DON'T have their dream come true are in that position strictly because they refuse to hush up, put it in writing, and break it into smaller, much more manageable pieces. They'd rather make excuses, and explain why they can't have it, instead of listing ways to go about getting there.
Henry Ford phrased it well when he said,
"People who say it can't be done
should stop interrupting those who are doing it."
Please forgive me: I can't explain to you why my dreams are achievable or not: I'm just too busy working at making it happen. The identical energy that we both have, perfectly identical brain energy, appears to be focused in different directions: you focused on why you can't, me focused on how I can. I admit that I don't know HOW to make my dream come true, and then I go out and find people who can tell me; those who have done it, those who are doing it now.

Smell reality, folks. Let's say, for example, that you have never once sat at a computer. It requires, and I kid you not, it requires no more than 100 seconds from the time you first sit at a computer, even if it's the first time in your life, LESS than 100 seconds for you to learn how to get thousands of answers to a hundred thousand different question you might ask.

You want advice? Enormous loans? Freebies? Free courses on public relations or brain surgery, door-to-door instructions to a house on the other end of the country? Guitar lessons? The ability to use a camera many thousands of miles up in the sky? Free scholarships? All this and so much more are just seconds away when you learn how to search the Internet, which requires barely a minute of instruction or experimenting. If the computer you're sitting at is connected to the Internet, there is a white box in front of you. Just type what you're looking for, in plain language, and it will find it for you. Yes, that simply.

Regarding absolutely anything that I do not know how to do,do you really think I'll ask my mother, brother, or my Aunt Tillie/Nellie/Billie or Shmillie?
Of course not! I'm going to go as directly and quickly as possible to the horse's mouth:
those who have already done it at a world-class level.
Let's cut right to the chase. There can be no doubt, and no argument: when a dozen masters in a single field answer thirty-one questions, and four of their answers are almost perfectly AND universally identical, only a moron would presume to know more, or to know better, about the field in which they are masters, let alone how to get up the ladder to being a master. F'shtay? Capisce? Comprendez? You catching the flavor here?

Why would anyone go to the wrong end of the horse to seek top-notch info? Here we have the information, the methods, even the very words used by the best of the best in every single one of a thousand different human efforts. Gee, did I say a thousand? Yes, I did, probably because there's some question about whether you're even vaguely capable or willing to consider that there are thousands of experts on hundreds of thousands of different subjects.

Whew! That's a strong statement, isn't it? Life-changing, in fact, for those tiny little numbers of you, just seven in every one hundred, who are so much smarter than anyone around them (with the possible expection of one of your parents) ever, ever conceived of you being. Much smarter for no other reason than that you're openminded enough, therefore smart enough, to treat this document as a personal wakeup call AND advisory that virtually everything is available to you right now. As a result, the next few hours, and the next several days, will find you making more efforts, AND THEREFORE MORE PROGRESS, than you have ever made in your life before. Best of all, it applies to every known human effort, from getting a medical degree or on the local police force, into a rock band or running unusually successful garage sales at your home every month.

Since your actions of the past several months make it difficult to believe that you can grasp the very idea and reality of having thousands of experts on each one of so many thousands of human efforts, settle for understanding that you can find at least one thousand top-notch experts on any subject on earth.

Having made it past this intensely important bridge, let's shut up and tap into this potent resource, and let's do so today. Just 100 seconds to sit at a computer at any public libary in America and learn just about instantly how to search for any subject on earth.
Roll me in honey and tie me to a beestack, you are not mistaken in thinking that
Which brings to mind the bartender. A wiseacre, a joke-popping guy who thought he was a ladies' man. Much as he enjoyed bartending, interacting with so many new people, and, of course, meeting new girls. He also had this enormous desire for something specific, and, just like the video store clerk who lived and worked far away, he exhibited just one major difference between himself... ... and you.
Ah, now you're patting yourself on the back for thinking that you're smart enough to know the difference between you and the relatively broke bartender, aren't you?

You already jumped ahead to the conclusion that the difference between you is identical to the differences between you and the lowly video store clerk, true or not? You're just convinced that you're above average in intelligence, go ahead, tell the truth.

Well, that just goes to remind us of two life-changing facts:
  1. people are rarely as intelligent as they believe themselves to be. Yes, including you. This is based on measuring not merely what you know, which only counts for a piece of the pie. It's based on measuring what you DO with what you know.
  2. Being dumb and being smart are always a matter of choice.

No kidding. The first is true because we have visual, documented evidence. Look at the difference between where you are, and where you wish you were right now. That's the proof, along with,
"Our actions are so loud our words are barely audible."
The second is true as well: stupidity and intelligence are a matter of choice. Please recognize and remember that it doesn't matter how little information you might have about how to achieve something you want. As long as your want is specific, and in writing, repeatedly, we instantly see that you're using more of the information you have, rather than having a great deal of information and using it not at all. Do you understand this seemingly simple point? It all comes down far less to what you KNOW than it does what you DO with what you know.

Look how many know a great deal, and do little or nothing with it. Now look at
"typical shmoes" who take that tiny nugget they might possess, and milk it for all it's worth. It explains how our high-school-dropout video clerk met the bartender years later. How many nuggets do YOU possess? The most critical, impactful question anyone can ask you in this life is, simply enough, "What are you doing today with your nugget or nuggets?"
The video clerk, named Quentin Tarantino, thought wierd by so many, became an extraordinarily successful man in Hollywood, while the bartender didn't too badly either. He did so well in fact, that Quentin asked the now-former bartender, named Bruce Willis, to star in his off-beat movie entitled, "Pulp Fiction," which went on to become a cult hit and serious financial success, relaunching the career of a languishing young has-been star named John Travolta, and initially lauching the career of Samuel Jackson, who went on to become a ten million dollar-per-movie star.

Several careers launched not merely successfully, rather, all four of these men individually broke a variety of records in their fields, and earned respect for being one of the best, all as a direct result of this movie... ... of the efforts of a former video store clerk.

Please take a look at your local video store clerk, or the last bartender who served you a drink at a family celebration. Did either one of them strike you as someone who would be at the top of a whole new game, an entirely new career within a Not one human in a hundred would predict that these two so-called "nobodies" in their twenties would ever have reason to meet. Although they both gave the appearance of being less than supremely intelligent, they both became geniuses the moment they began to take the tiny steps written on their lists.
We all know if you're smart or stupid. We know this not based how much information you can bring out of your mouth, because that's a common trait, but rather by observing the measurable, definable number of times you apply what you know to making something specific happen. Can you tell us aloud where you're heading today?
Exactly where do you want to be tomorrow? The answer will be clearly broadcast to everyone around you, in the next few hours, in fact, based on where you go today, and what you do there.... and most of all, how many times.

Golden Losers: those who are persistently ridiculed for doing exactly what you do -- wish for something -- and then have the audacity, the basic courage, to shut up, put it in writing, and persistently ask for what they want... and invariably end up getting there.
Happy are those who dream dreams and are willing to pay the price to make them come true, instead of being like 93 percent of us, who pay the price for NOT making them come true.
Your category? We already know.

We can see by where you are moving today.

The Fastest, Most Effective Shortcuts to Success

America is still the richest land in the richest era in history. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people here become millionaires! Four million Americans double or triple their income. Opportunity in thousands and thousands of different arenas. So why do most of us settle for such average results? When did we stop dreaming big dreams? Worse, at what insidious point in time did YOU stop believing in your dreams?

Who wouldn't laugh at Ben Rich, when he came up with a "design" in the 1970's for an invisible airplane? Would YOU believe in such a silly dream? Not many people did. One powerful man who DID believe in what Ben presented him with was in charge of allocating money to military aircraft research (A man who went on to become US Secretary of Defense).
Money was invested, and many years of research and development were required... including many dozens of ‘failures.’ Ben Rich never stopped believing in his dream. In 1990, the value of his dream, and the persistence to make it reality, was magnified through 43 consecutive days and nights of selective, near-surgically-precise bombing in Iraq... without a single F-117 Stealth Fighter being shot down -- even in the face of massive anti-aircraft barrages, where the skies were lit with explosions!!. The reason none of those F-117's were shot down? Opposition radar never once picked up these Stealth fighters. Electronically speaking, they were invisible!
My point? Dreams are invariably "impossible" to those who don't share the dream. People who are unwilling to pursue their own dream are mighty quick to knock the efforts of those who dare to dream, and dare to take the smaller, necessary steps to make that dream a fact of life. Remember that the people who knock YOUR dream are losers... especially if the person knocking it happens to belong to the face you see in the mirror.
Isn't there SOMETHING you'd still like to do in your life? Is the rest of your life nothing more than punching a clock, making it from payday to payday? Are you able to bank at least two paychecks per month as "free & clear savings," above & beyond your expenses & pleasure spending? If not, it may be time to take a look, hmm? I know, I know, you've got dozens of so-called "reasons" for not really tapping into the Giant that’s inside of you. Frankly, I'm not interested in hearing them, nor do I know ANYONE who's interested in listening to your excuses... except for other excuse-makers, who will be quick to commiserate with your "reasons," & quick to agree with you. Well, no one's ever excused his or her way to success.
Time to stop whining, complaining, bitching, griping, Moaning, groaning. Ugh, what depressing & offensive words. Wouldn’t you rather be excited, enthusiastic, straining for the winning line?
Do you have any desire to feel the joy and excitement of NEW successes and toys and cash?
You’ve solved emergencies before…when it was important enough to you.
What’s important to you now?
Stop making excuses. Enough already, hm?
Today's date is separate from every other date in your life, and mine.
Only a fool would waste a day. Then again, maybe you have something more important to do today.

Whatever you do in the next hour will tell us clearly what you stand for, & who you are....
JC Penney: "Show me a stock clerk with a goal,
I’ll show you a man who’ll make history.
Show me a man without a goal, I’ll show you...
... a stock clerk."
